Daniel Chafin Bryant began singing and speaking at evangelistic retreats as a tenth grader in high school. This led to various ministry opportunities: leading youth group worship; playing at weddings and birthday parties; prison concerts; touring with several bands; working as a praise band leader at summer camps; and starting an inner-city church.
Daniel has since graduated from Bryan College, located in Dayton, Tennessee. Upon graduation, he accepted a position as a full-time youth pastor in Georgia. Daniel served as the teen youth coordinator for Sandy Cove Conference Center in North East, Maryland. God placed it on Daniel and his wife's {Cindy} hearts to become house parents at Tennessee Baptist Children's home.
During this time, Cindy became pregnant with their first child... And God was opening up another door. They moved to Taiwan as "music" missionaries. Daniel and a former college roommate {Mark Heffner} formed the band Freedom and were able to share Jesus Christ with 8,000+ Chinese junior high and high school students.
The Bryant family returned from Taiwan and served as the directors of a home for pregnant women in crisis {Emmaus With Child in Scottsville, Virginia}. God was opening up a "new" door to minister, and Daniel began to focus on a new band... Chivalry 3. This new project was formed by three teenage youth that were members of his local church youth group. Chivalry 3 toured through the year of 2003, and completed a CD.
God has led Daniel back to Tennessee, and an interesting thing has happened. Daniel has come full circle with a friend he met fourteen years ago, David Dahlke. He met David {who was 12 years old at the time} after a concert, and David let him know that God used the music to help him avoid the disaster of ending his life. David occasionally travels with Daniel and shares his story.
